Campaign Results Despite economic setbacks throughout Washington in 2009, the tremendous generosity of you and your federal employees shined through once again. You pledged $1,187,984 to local, national and international charities during the 2009 campaign. This was the third highest mark in 20 years. By all of us rolling up our sleeves and continuing to stoke the flames of America's generous spirit, we have the opportunity to make our community a better one, a brighter one and a stronger one. We can not only make a difference, but systematic change in our neighborhoods, communities and this great nation. In 2009 we extended online giving to all federal agencies and in 2010, a second online option (EEX) is available for some agencies in addtiion to our traditional online system.
