Campaign Results Despite predictions that the economic downturn in 2008 would be daunting, the tremendous generosity of you and your federal employees shined through once again. You pledged $1,249,229 to local, national and international charities during the 2008 CFC of South Puget Sound. This was the second highest mark in fifteen years. By all of us rolling up our sleeves and continuing to stoke the flames of America's generous spirit, we have the opportunity to make our community a better one, a brighter one and a stronger one. We can not only make a difference, but systematic change in our neighborhoods, communities and this great nation. Last year (2008) marked the first year we piloted online giving at five federal agencies. In 2009 we have extended online giving to most federal agencies.
