In 2009, the CFC of South Puget Sound recognized the campaign volunteer that went above and beyond the call of duty in their volunteer efforts with the CFC. CPT Vogt’s efforts transcended the 555 Brigade’s campaign with a 47% increase in participation. Ensuring all had the opportunity to give not to but through the CFC.

The local campaign winner will also be nominated for the National CFC Unsung Hero's Award, where all winners are invited to Washington D.C. for a ceremony in the historic Eisenhower Executive Building (EEOB). |
